I've been working on a children's book between jobs and this sketch just cracks me up. Poor Cindy had to pose with an octopus for my reference photo, what a sport...
Lately when I'm drawing my favorite pencil is a good ole, ticonderoga #2, that's what this sketch is. When I go to finish I've been inking it with a rapidograph which gives it such a good clean line for photoshop to grab when I scan it... I don't know if I told you Bill, but I totally dig your superhero murals, the one of the Hulk rules, I want that in my room someday...

Hey, what kind of pencil are you using here? or is it regular then changed to B+W in photoshop?
